Notes:
1 - On other sources is referred the "2e Régiment de Légére" but this book (pg 26) has other information. I'll follow it, as a Brigade composed only by light infantry doesn't seem the rule and, by the order of battle I saw on Wikipedia, there's only another Division with only light infantry (the 7th, also from II Corps).

This means (1:20 scale) about 815 infantry figures, 90 cavalry and whatever feels right for the artillery... just for the french fighting in and around Hougoumont. Right?

Sadly, all I have is artillery sets...

("Green" units, already being done by another modeller)

Waterloo 1815 - 2015

200 anos de História valem sempre a pena recordar. Perguntem aos Americanos! :D
Entretanto, vou colocando aqui as minhas fontes.

200 years of History are well worthy to remember. Ask the Americans! :D
Vítor Mestre suggested a group build with some Portuguese modelers and, - I still don't know why - he is counting on me too!
We have less than 3 years until Modelscala 2015 to build a complete Waterloo Diorama at 1/72 scale. For start (and only contribuition?) I'll be responsible for the units who fought for Hougmount and La Haye Sainte.
Meanwhile, I'll be posting my fonts here (I need to get all the links together). Also, I would appreciate any help with uniforms (or others).

Rejects give away

Giving stuff on blog seams a new trend - and I am not complaining! - and this time I even saw this offer in time.
Very nice give away from Ray (Don't throw a 1) and Fran (The Angry Lurker), offering a few dices they have made specially for them!
Just go there and say you want it. On both blogs, twice the chances! You may not win but then again, you may...

Medieval figures II

Finally I could push this work forward!

Some figures are not even on my best but I felt a little dismayed with the figures themselves and again with my inability to paint some details in a right way! grrrr!
Found out how it was to work with balsa wood... and I love it! The wagon isn't that good, but it's just the first!
The horses are from Miniart Hussites box.
Not over yet, I still have to get a base for them!
This is just a preview...
